Baked rice and vegetables recipe
This is not just rice and vegetables, but rice and vegetables in the oven, interesting, isn’t it? Very easy to prepare, it only takes couple of minutes and the rest is done by the oven. It is a perfect addition to meat balls and chicken; the vegetables are baked with the rice and absorb each other’s tastes, excellent taste.
1 medium-sized onion cut in half and sliced
1 cup of rice
1 1/2 of cup water
1 tsp. Paprika
4 spoons of olive oil
Diced black pepper
1. In a hot pan put several spoons of olive oil, rice, 1 tsp. salt and water, lower the fire and cook for 9 minutes, covered.
2. Preheat the oven to 180°C
3. Cut the sweet potato slices, season with salt and pepper and fry the onion and put it on the slices.
4. Put the rice on top covered and bake in the oven for 50 minutes.
