Hyssop Fingers
I love warm yeast pastries that spread a good smell in the house. Only imagine the softness and the spicy flavor of Hyssop. Who is going to eat the first finger that comes out of the oven.
Ingredients:
210 gr. (1 1/2 cup) flour
1/2 cup dry yeast
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. sugar
4 spoons olive oil
1/2 cup warm water
Hyssop
3 spoons olive oil
1 full tsp. Hyssop
1/2 tsp. crushed garlic
1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation:
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C
- 2. Place all the ingredients into a mixer or bowl, and Mix to a dough. let bloat in a warm corner and let it swell until it doubles itself.
- 3. Flatten dough into a rectangle, cut fingers (stripes), mix the Hyssop ingredients and brush on the fingers.
- 4. Bake for 13 minutes or until the bottom becomes yellow.
