Rice with Israeli couscous

Excellent side dish for both children and grown ups. Very easy to prepare, Two minutes preparation. It has everything children love.

Ingredients:

2 big carrots sliced into short sticks
1/3 cup flakes (israeli couscous)
2 cups rice
3 cups water
Crushed black pepper
2 flat tsp. salt

Preparation:

1. Fry carrots for 5 minutes on high flame, add flakes and fry until they change color, add rice, water and spices.

2. Boil on low the flame, cook for 18 minutes Put out the fire. cover for 10 minutes more.
