Turkey with Red Lentils
Turkey is very healthy for children, full of iron, the lentils bring a good taste and the vegetables add some more flavor. And the sauce, oh the sauce, take a slice of bread and dip it in!
800 gr. Female Turkey cut into small cubes
1 big onion
2 sliced garlic cloves
3 Red peppers
2 spoons of red lentils
3 cups of water
1 spoon of Paprika
1 tsp. Cumin
1/2 tsp. Turmeric
1/2 bunch of chopped parsley
Crushed black pepper
1. Put the Turkey in a marinade of Paprika and several spoons of oil.
2. Cut the carrot into short sticks and fry in a hot pan for two minutes, chop the onion and add to the pan, cut the Red peppers into cubes and add to the pan, let it fry for several minutes.
3. Add spices, 2 cups of water and boil, add the lentils with the parsley, then cook for about 15 minutes.
4. In a separate pan, fry the Turkey for 2 minutes and add to the main dish and cook for 10 minutes more.
