


Baked carrot sticks
You can call these whatever you want. To me these are a tasty snack that is quickly devoured by anyone passing by the tray. There won’t be any left for an actual meal so I suggest doubling the recipe so it doesn’t disappear so quickly. A really simple and healthy recipe.
Ingredients:
6-7 large carrots
1/4 cup olive oil
1/2 tsp sweet paprika
1/4 tsp cumin
1 tsp salt
A small amount of breadcrumbs
Preparation:
1. Preheat an oven to 190°C.
2. Cut the carrots into thick sticks and place in a bowl. Add the oil and spices and mix well.
3. Transfer to a baking tray lined with parchment paper, sprinkle a small amount of breadcrumbs, and bake for 40 minutes or until the carrots soften.
Served with breadsticks, tomato and spicy pepper salad, and eggplant salad
