


Black eyed peas salad recipe
This is an unusual salad with a special taste, fresh and colorful, that contributes a lot to the meal. It is different from the usual salads. The Black eyed peas are mixed together with tomatoes, onions, and seasoned with herbs, spices and a generous quantity of olive oil. The salad is eaten cold. There are several tastes that blend in this salad and make it worth preparing.
Ingredients:
1 cup of Black-eyed Peas
2.5 cups of water
as many as possible cherry Tomatoes cut in half
1 medium-sized onion cut in half and thinly sliced
2-3 spoons chopped parsley
1 flat spoon soup powder
Diced black pepper
Salt
Preparation:
1. Brew the Black-eyed Peas in boiling water for a night, filter.
2. Make sautéed Black-eyed peas in oil for several times, season and add the water, bring to a boil and then cook on low heat. Cook until the liquids are absorbed and the peas are soft.
3. Mix with all ingredients and season with salt and pepper.
