I love making this recipe. Imagine the amazing aroma of freshly baked bread wafting through your kitchen. You’ll definitely make this recipe over and over again, it’s addictive! Add a few nice salads and you have a perfect meal.
10 Bread sticks
330 grams flour (2 cups + 2 Tbsp)
1/2 Tbsp dry yeast / 1/3 packet of fresh yeast
1 tsp salt
3/4 Tbsp sugar
60 ml oil (1/4 cup)
160 ml lukewarm water (2/3 cup)
Rock salt (not mandatory)
1. Place the flour, yeast, sugar, and salt in the bowl of a mixer, add the oil and water and mix on medium speed until you get a soft smooth dough. Transfer to a greased bowl and let rise for at least one hour.
2. Divide the dough into 10 pieces, and let rise for 10 minutes.
3. Roll each piece into a thin oval shape, roll into a 35 cm roll and arrange on a tray lined with baking paper. Let rise for 15-20 minutes. In the meantime, preheat an oven to 180°C.
4. Beat the egg and brush over the rolls, sprinkle sesame seeds on top and bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes.
