


Brown Rice with Vegetables
Cooking healthy food has never harmed anyone; some corns and some carrots for the nice color and they all cooked together happily.
Ingredients:
2 cups long Brown Rice
4 cups boiling water
1 big onion cut into cubes
3 carrots cut into round pieces
1 cup corn
Diced black pepper
2 flat salt tsp.
Preparation:
1. Brew the rice for 15 minutes; fry the onion until it gets transparent, add the carrots and stir-fry for 1 minute, add the corn, the rice, the water and the spices; bring to boil, lower the fire and cover.
2. Cook for 45 minutes and leave covered for 20 more.
