Cheesy boyikos biscuits
These are so incredibly delicious! These little things go fast. Savory cheese biscuits that are simply divine when they’re fresh out of the oven! Serve with a sour cream dip and lots of veggies and you’ll wonder why you didn’t make double. A winning recipe that the entire family will love.
Makes 30 biscuits
Ingredients:
100 grams butter
200 grams 9% soft white cheese (4 Tbsp)
100 grams grated cheese of choice
50 grams Bulgarian/feta/Tzafit cheese
1 egg
300 grams flour (2 cups + 2 Tbsp)
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1 egg
Sesame seeds
Preparation:
1. Cut the butter into small cubes and place in a mixer. Add the flour and the other ingredients and process into a smooth and sticky dough.
2. Generously dust a sheet of parchment paper with flour. Divide the dough in two. Place the dough on the flour and flip over. Roll out until 4-5 mm thick. Cut into 6 cm diameter circles.
3. Preheat an oven to 180°C.
4. Arrange the rounds on a sheet of parchment paper. Beat an egg and brush the biscuits with it. Sprinkle them with sesame seeds and bake for around 25 minutes or until golden.

Freezer-friendly. Best eaten hot out of the oven!
