

Chicken Breast in Sweet Chili Sauce
A super tasty and simple recipe for chicken breast in sweet chili sauce.
I love the combination of chili with honey, it really does wonders for chicken breast. This is one of my family’s favorite recipes for lunch that both kids and adults adore. Wondering what to cook today?
This is the answer! Sweet chili, honey, and chicken breast to the rescue.
Makes 3 servings
Ingredients:
600 grams chicken breast, chopped into small pieces
For the marinade:
1 egg white
1 Tbsp cornstarch
1 Tbsp paprika
1 Tbsp ketchup
2 Tbsp sweet chili sauce
1 Tbsp honey
3/4 cup water
1 Tbsp chicken bouillon
Salt (if needed, to taste)
Preparation:
1. Mix the chicken breast with the egg white and the cornstarch and let marinate for around an hour.
2. Pour 3 Tbsp of oil into a heated pan. Add all the marinated breast and cook on high heat for around 5 minutes.
3. Add the other ingredients to a separate pan, cook for around a minute and then add to the chicken breast. Cook for a further two minutes while stirring, remove from the heat and set aside for around 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Served with corn soup

You can substitute the chicken breast with boneless skinless chicken thighs or turkey breast or thigh. You can marinate for several hours, and you can prepare it the day before.
