Chicken Nuggets
Fantastic chicken nuggets! The chicken breast is super tender, crispy and golden. Kids and adults love these! You don’t need to buy frozen or order out, these nuggets are easy to make, and delicious.
Be warned though, once you make these you’ll be bombarded with requests to make them over and over again. My kids can’t get enough of them!
Preparation time:
Around 25 minutes
Ingredients:
140 grams flour (1 cup)
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp rotisserie chicken spice
Ground black pepper
Salt
For the batter:
280 grams flour (2 cups)
1 cup pale ale beer (a little less than a 330 ml bottle)
240 ml soda water
1 Tbsp sweet paprika
1 tsp rotisserie chicken spice
1 Tbsp chicken bouillon
Ground black pepper
Salt
Preparation:
1. Mix the flour and spices and coat the chicken breast.
2. To prepare the batter:
Mix all the ingredients into a batter. Dust the flour off the chicken breast. Heat a pan with enough oil to deep fry the nuggets. Dip the chicken breast in the batter and gently place in the hot oil. Fry until golden on all sides and then remove to a plate lined with absorbent paper towel.
Good to know…
You can’t bake these. You can replace the beer with soda water. Best made fresh, not ahead of time.
