


Chicken Shawarma
Have I already mentioned how much I love an easy life when it comes to the kitchen? Imagine succulent chicken thighs with a lot of onion. I love onion in dishes, it adds such great flavor, and together with the chicken thighs I get a juicy and delicious meal that my kids also love. Bon appétit.
Makes 4 servings
Ingredients:
600 grams boneless skinless chicken thighs, cut into small pieces
2 onions
1 clove of garlic
5-6 Tbsp water
1 heaped tsp shawarma spice
1 Tbsp paprika
1/2 tsp turmeric
1 Tbsp chicken bouillon
Ground black pepper
Salt
Preparation:
1. Cut the onion in half and slice thinly. Add 2 Tbsp of oil to a hot pan and sauté the onion until golden. Chop the garlic and add to the pan.
2. Add the chicken thighs and sauté on high heat for around three minutes. Add the spices and water and cook for an additional 5-6 minutes, stirring frequently.
