

Chocolate Balls that Kids Love
These nostalgic chocolate balls are a sweet treat that always take me back to my childhood. They are so easy to make and a fun activity to do with the kids. Let them go wild with the toppings.
This is a classic dessert or snack that is as easy to prepare as it is tasty. Free up some time, fill up bowls with assorted toppings and for a short while forget about your troubles and bask in your childhood memories. It’s amazing how therapeutic it can be.
Makes 30 balls
Ingredients:
100 grams butter
2 Tbsp powdered chocolate drink mix powder
100 grams milk / dark chocolate
80 grams white sugar (1/3 cup)
200 grams biscuits
80 ml milk (1/3 cup)
Toppings:
Colorful sprinkles
Brown sugar
Powdered sugar
Ground coconut
Preparation:
1. Break up the chocolate into squares and place in a microwave safe bowl together with the butter. Microwave until melted and mix until well combined. Add the sugar and mix until dissolved.
2. Place the biscuits in a food processor and grind them into tiny pieces.
3. Mix together all the ingredients including the chocolate and biscuits and form small balls. Roll in your topping of choice.
4. Place each ball in a muffin liner and keep refrigerated.
Good to know…
Freezer-friendly but don’t freeze with the sprinkles or powdered sugar. Freeze in the muffin liners.
