Chocolate cake without eggs

A great cake that’s hard to believe it’s made without any eggs. The texture is wonderful and the flavor super chocolaty. A tested favorite among kids. Who knew that a cake without eggs could taste this good?!


280 grams flour (2 cups)
250 grams sugar (1 /1/4 cups)
1 cup chocolate drink mix powder (like Nesquik)
1/3 cup cocoa powder
480 ml hot water (2 cups)
120 ml oil (1/2 cup)
1 tsp baking soda
2 Tbsp vinegar


1. Preheat an oven to 180°C.

2. Mix all the dry ingredients in a bowl add the wet ingredients while mixing rapidly. Then add the vinegar and the baking soda. The batter will be thin.

*3. Pour into a greased baking pan and bake for around 45 minutes or until the cake has set.
