Addictive Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies
This is a recipe for oatmeal cookies, one of the best I’ve made, they are crunchy, addictive and extremely easy to make. You won’t believe how quickly these little ones disappear. I love playing with them and sometimes I add chocolate chips, which is more appealing to children.
If you want to treat your kids to a tenth-grade meal, these are classic cookies for the lunch box or to start the morning with delicious cookies. And if you’re going to make cookies, then make them from oatmeal, a recipe from my mother that reminds me of home the most.
60 cookies
Ingredients:
175 g softened butter
100 g white sugar (3/4 cup)
100 g light brown demerara sugar
2 L eggs
2 tsp vanilla sugar
In a bowl, mix:
210g flour (1.5 cups)
200g cups rolled oats
1/3 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking soda
3/4 tsp cinnamon
1/2 cup white chocolate chips (optional)
1/2 cup dark chocolate chips (optional)
Preparation:
1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees and prepare a baking sheet with baking paper.
2. Put the butter and sugars in a mixer and using a whisk, beat on medium speed for about two minutes. It will look like a spread. Add the egg and mix until it is incorporated and add another egg.
3. Add the bowl with the dry ingredients and mix on low speed until a uniform mixture is obtained.
4. Make balls weighing 16-17 g. Arrange in a baking sheet with spaces, bake for about 12 minutes and cool.
