Chocolate Nectarine Brownies
An amazing brownie recipe that combines chocolate and nectarines. So moist and chocolaty with the added sweetness and juiciness of the nectarines!
20 x 30 cm baking pan
Ingredients:
100 grams bittersweet chocolate
100 grams milk chocolate
100 grams butter
200 grams sugar (1 cup)
3 eggs
140 grams flour (1 cup)
3 nectarines, cut into small chunks
For the streusel topping:
25 grams butter
1/3 cup flour
1 Tbsp sugar
Preparation:
1. Preheat an oven to 180°C.
2. Melt the chocolate and butter, then add the sugar and mix. Add the eggs and finally the flour. Don’t worry if it’s a bit hard to mix. Pour into a baking pan.
3. Scatter the nectarine chunks over the batter and place in the oven. Bake for around 20 minutes. While the brownies are baking, mix the streusel ingredients together until you get a crumb-like consistency. After 20 minutes in the oven, evenly sprinkle the streusel topping over the brownies.
4. Put back in the oven and bake until the brownies are done. You’ll know when they’re ready when a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out with moist crumbs and the streusel is golden.
*5. Let cool for a few hours and cut into squares.
