What ? Prepare Falafel at home? This is a home-made Falafel recipe with Hummus and parsley and all the good tastes, a real feast, Easy to prepare and after you prepare it, you don’t understand how you haven’t done it before; it is much tastier than the one you used to buy in the street.

Ingredients:

1 cup chickpeas ( Hummus)
that brewed for a whole night (12 hours)
3 slices of Challa soaked and squeezed dry
3 garlic cloves
1 medium sized roughly chopped onion
1 bunch of parsley
1 tsp. baking powder
1 bit Cinnamon
1 tsp. Cumin
Diced black pepper
Salt

Preparation:

1. Put all  the ingredients in the food processor bowl and blend, check seasoning, roll the mixture into 24 round balls and let cool for 2 hours.

2. Fry in deep oil for several minutes until they become brown, put on paper towels to absorb oil.

3. Second option – baking: add 3 spoons oil to the mixture
Flatten the balls a little, cover pan with oiled baking paper, arrange the balls inside and bake 15 minutes on one side and 10 minutes on the other at 180°C, or until the balls become golden brown.
