


Green beans and vegetables recipe
I love green beans. I love their crunch and firm texture. I added more vegetables to this dish, as well as wax beans (which are basically yellow colored green beans), and the result is a great tasting easy side dish. I served this with rice to soak up the delicious sauce.
A super easy vegetarian dish that is a great accompaniment to any meal.
Makes 3-4 servings
Ingredients:
1 onion
2 small zucchinis
2 carrots
2 tomatoes
1 cup green beans (frozen)
1 cup wax beans (frozen)
1 Tbsp Moroccan paprika
1 Tbsp honey
1 tsp flour
2 cups water
1 Tbsp chicken bouillon
Ground black pepper
Salt
Preparation:
1. Cut the carrots into matchsticks. Pour 3 Tbsp of oil into a heated pan and sauté the carrot for around one minute. Chop the onion and add to the carrot, sautéing for another two minutes. Dice the zucchini and tomatoes and add to the onion.
2. Add water and honey. Mix 1/3 cup water with the flour until the flour dissolves and add to the vegetables along with the seasoning. Cook for 10 minutes and add the beans. Cook for another 10-15 minutes.
