Grilled Cheese Malawach
Only two minutes to prepare and so incredibly tasty. This makes a great meal or snack that kids and adults alike will love.
Ingredients:
As much malawach as you want
Tomato sauce / ketchup
Cheese of choice
Preparation:
1. Defrost the malawach a bit, roll it out a little and spread some tomato sauce over half the malawach and then sprinkle the cheese over the sauce.
2. Fold the malawach in half and place in a panini press for a couple of minutes until it goes golden.
3. Cut into wedges or eat as is.
Good to know…
Use a good panini press. Note that the more of these you make, the quicker the preparation time becomes because the panini press gets really hot so make sure you keep a close eye on them and remove when golden. I used three malawach pieces for this recipe.
