Ground Beef Sandwiches
I love to surprise my kids. They never know what they’re going to get for lunch. The truth is that I don’t really know what I’m going to make until an idea for something tasty strikes me. Ground beef, a bit of garlic and spices, good buns, I made a vegetable salad, and the kids really enjoyed their meal. It’s actually all about how you dish up the food. Bon appétit!

Makes 8 sandwiches
Ingredients:
8 buns
300 grams ground beef
2 cloves of garlic
1 onion
1/2 tsp turmeric
1 level Tbsp chicken bouillon
Ground black pepper
Salt
Shredded lettuce
Preparation:
1. Heat a pan with 3 Tbsp of oil, chop the onion and sauté until it starts to go golden. Finely chop the garlic and add to onion. Sauté for another 2 minutes, stirring occasionally (smells great!).
2. Add the meat and sauté for around 10 minutes, breaking the meat up as you cook it. Add the spices and cook for another two minutes and turn off the heat.
3. For sticklers (like me), line a plate with paper towel and transfer the meat to the plate. Wait 20 minutes.
*4. Cut the buns in half, spread whatever you like (hummus, ketchup, mayonnaise, mustard, tahini, etc.) and then add the meat and shredded lettuce. Close tightly and take a big bite! Delicious!
