Honey mustard chicken
A winning recipe for tender, juicy, flavorful chicken. SO easy to make and such a delicious treat to eat. I love easy recipes that my kids get excited about. Definitely one of my regular rotation recipes.
Makes 4 servings
4 drumsticks + 4 chicken thighs
3-4 Tbsp olive oil
2 Tbsp honey
1 tsp regular mustard
1 tsp Moroccan paprika
1 Tbsp chicken bouillon
Ground black pepper
Salt (if needed, to taste)
1. If you buy the chicken legs whole, separate the drumsticks and thighs.
2. Place all the ingredients in a bowl, mix and add the chicken. Coat well with the mixture and let marinate for at least an hour.
3. Preheat an oven to 190°C. Line a baking tray with parchment paper, arrange the chicken on it and place in the oven.
4. Bake for around an hour.
Good to know…
You can use chicken wings instead of the legs and then the cooking time is around 45 minutes. You can use this marinade for the BBQ as well.
