Incredible French Toast
This dish only takes 5 minutes to make. If you have 5 minutes to spare then go and make this.
How many new twists can you invent for French toast? You’d be surprised, actually. I actually couldn’t stop snacking on these while I was photographing the recipe, to the point that I finished an entire batch and had to make another one.
A simple recipe that delivers big on flavor. This makes a great snack on its own or as a meal served with a soup or salad. Trust me, double the recipe, and even then you’ll be sorry you didn’t make more, it’s finger licking good!
2 rolls, preferably long
2 large eggs
1 tsp flour
50 grams Yellow cheese
1/2 tsp salt
1 heaped Tbsp 5% soft white cheese
3 Tbsp milk
3-4 Tbsp chopped chives
1. Cut the roll into thick slices.
2. Beat together the eggs, flour and salt until the flour is fully incorporated in the eggs, then add the cheese, milk, Yellow cheese, and chives, and beat for a few more seconds.
3. Dip the slices into the egg mixture and fry on both sides until golden. Remove from the pan.
