Low calorie desserts cheese and biscuits

Sometimes I want to go the simple route. A dessert that doesn’t require too many ingredients and preferably ones I already have on hand.
Is there really such a thing as an individual dessert in a cup that doesn’t have any whipping cream in it? Yes, there is. I wanted to reduce the calorie count of this dessert so I left out the heavy cream. I also cut back on the amount of sugar. I wanted a light dessert that could be enjoyed guilt-free.
Another important point is that this dessert looks quite elegant and is super tasty but won’t cost you an arm and a leg to make. Win-win…

Makes 8 small 80 ml cups

Ingredients:

850 grams 5% soft white cheese
60 grams instant vanilla pudding powder mix (3 Tbsp)
60 grams sugar (3 Tbsp)

Topping:
12 biscuits
20 grams melted butter (not mandatory)

Preparation:

1. Mix together the instant pudding mix, the cheese and the sugar. Transfer to a piping bag and fill the cups 3/4 full. Refrigerate for half an hour.

2. Crush the biscuits and add the butter if using. Spoon the crumbs into the cups. Refrigerate for an hour.

Good to know…
You don’t need a piping bag, you can also use a spoon. You don’t need a mixer for this recipe. Freezer-friendly. If you like a sweeter dessert, you can add an additional 2 Tbsp of sugar.

Is there a substitution for the cheese that can can be used? I don’t think that what you are using is available in America. Thank you
