Meatballs Made with Love

I absolutely adore this recipe! There are few things better than warm, tender, juicy meatballs.
A classic comfort food recipe that will warm your heart and your tummy.
I’ve been making these meatballs for many years and they’re always a huge hit.
I attribute their overwhelming success to my secret ingredient – love. I know it sounds kitschy but it’s true. I pour my heart and soul into these meatballs.

Ingredients:

1/2 kg ground beef
1 onion
1 potato
1/4 cup breadcrumbs
1/4 cup finely chopped parsley
1 egg
3-4 Tbsp oil
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp turmeric
1/4 tsp cumin
1 Tbsp chicken bouillon
Ground black pepper
Salt (if needed, to taste)

Preparation:

1. Grate the onion and the potato, mix with all the other ingredients and form meatballs (use damp or oiled hands).

2. Heat 3-2 Tbsp of oil in a pan. Flatten the meatballs slightly and fry in the pan until golden on both sides. Remove and let drain on a plate lined with paper towels.

3. If you prefer to bake them:
Preheat an oven to 180°C. Line a baking tray with greased parchment paper, arrange the meatballs on the tray and bake for 20-30 minutes, flip the meatballs and bake for another 10 minutes.

4. Served with golden pan-fried potatoes.

Juicy and delicious! Just don’t forget the secret ingredient ♥
