Oven-Roasted Broccoli

A healthy and addictive snack! Get ready for your next guilt-free addiction.
Not much oil or fuss and the result is amazing.  Five minutes of prep work and the oven does the rest. This makes the perfect side dish, it’s easy and quick to prepare, doesn’t require a lot of ingredients, and tastes great!

Ingredients:

3 heads of broccoli (or as much as you want)
Olive oil
Ground black pepper
Salt

Preparation:

1. Bring a pot of water to a boil.

2. Chop the broccoli into florets and chop the stalks. Cook in boiling water for 5-6 minutes and drain. The broccoli should be tender crisp.

3. Preheat an oven to 180°C. Arrange the broccoli on a baking tray lined with parchment paper and drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with salt. Bake for approx. 30 minutes.

4. Another option is not to use oil but to season the broccoli after you have let it drain and cool, and then serve. For this option, you can add 1 tsp of salt to the water instead of adding salt afterwards.
