Pasta With Mushroom and Onions

I really love pasta with mushrooms. Usually the dairy version is in high demand in my home but I wanted to eat it as a side dish with a meat entree and didn’t want to mix with dairy, so I made this instead and couldn’t believe how delicious it came out.
Have I already mentioned how much I love easy recipes? A super easy and delicious pasta dish.

Makes 3 servings

Ingredients:

300 grams pasta
1 large onion
15 champignon mushrooms
4 cloves of garlic
1/2 cup of the pasta cooking water
1/4 package parsley (1/2 cup chopped parsley)
1 Tbsp chicken bouillon
Ground black pepper
Salt (if needed, to taste)

Preparation:

1. Cook the pasta according to the instructions on the package, drain, add two Tbsp of oil and stir. Set aside.

2. Heat a pan with 2 Tbsp of oil, chop the onion and sauté for a few minutes while stirring. Slice the garlic and add to onion. Sauté for another 2 minutes. How’s that smell?

3. Slice the mushrooms and add to the onion, sautéing for around 5 minutes while stirring. Season and add the water. Chop the parsley and add, along with the seasoning.

*4. Add the pasta to the pan for around two minutes while stirring.

Good to know…
When you remove from the heat you should mix occasionally, the flavors get absorbed better, then wait a few minutes before serving, stirring occasionally. You can use any shape pasta you want.
