Poppy Seed Muffins

There’s something special about muffins. Cakes are great, too, but muffins are much cuter and somehow more appealing. These muffins are easy and delicious. The poppy seeds give them an amazing flavor. You have to give them a try!

Makes 9 large muffins


2 eggs
200 grams sugar (1 cup)
120 ml oil (1/2 cup)
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 large apple
1/3 cup freshly ground poppy seeds
250 ml whipping cream
210 grams flour (1 1/2 cups)
1.5 tsp baking powder


1. Preheat an oven to 180°C.

2. Place the eggs and sugar in a bowl and beat with a fork for a few seconds.

3. Grate the apple with the peel and add to the bowl along with the other ingredients, while adding the flour last.

4. Mix together until well incorporated. Grease a muffin tin and fill until 3/4 full.

*5. Bake for around 20 minutes or until the muffins have a nice color.
