Porcupine Meatballs in Sauce

Looking for a good dish for lunch? Does dinner become a negotiation session from the very start? Take my advice and make them porcupine meatballs. The perfect dish for lunch or dinner.

Ingredients:

300 gr. Ground Beef
200 gr. Ground Chicken
1 small grated onion
1 grated yellow zucchini
1 spoon of rice
Soup powder
Crushed black pepper
Salt

Sauce:
1 chopped onion
1 flat spoon Paprika
1 spoon tomato puree
1 spoon Sweet-Chilly
1/4 cup chopped parsley (if the children don’t object)
1 cup water
Soup powder
Crushed black pepper
Salt

Preparation:

1. Mix all ingredients in a large bowl by hand, Season the mixture. Roll meatballs to about the size of a ping-pong ball. Cover and cool for about one hour.

2. For the sauce : in a hot pan put 3 tablespoons of olive oil add chopped onions to the pan and stir for couple of minutes until the onions is tender and golden. Add the rest of the ingredients bring to boil, and lower the flame, cook for about 10 – 15 minutes.

3. Add the meatballs to the sauce, shake the pot a little add about half cup of water.

4. Cover and cook for 30 minutes shaking occasionally.

Serve with white rice.
