Quick and Easy Majadara

Lentils, especially green ones, are one of my favorite foods. I can eat an entire bowl of sautéed lentils and onions. It’s simply delicious and happens to be healthy too!
Rice and lentils go really well together and the first time I ate majadara I was hooked for life! A simple, tasty, and healthy recipe you will want to make over and over again. Watch the clip to see how I make this wonderful dish.

Makes 4 servings

Ingredients:

2 cups Jasmine / Persian rice
3 cups water
4 Tbsp oil
1 cup green / black lentils
1 large onion
1 tsp cumin
1 Tbsp chicken bouillon
Ground black pepper
Salt
