


Quick and tasty onion crustless quiche
A super tasty crustless quiche that is easy to prepare and makes a great accompaniment to any lunch or supper. You don’t even need to heat it up, it’s just as tasty cold or served at room temperature.
Onion crustless quiche that takes only 10 minutes to prep and the oven does the rest.
A 22 cm baking pan
Ingredients:
3 onions
2 purple onions
3 eggs
3/4 cup self-raising flour
3/4 cup water
2 tsp mayonnaise
3-4 Tbsp chopped parsley
A small amount of breadcrumbs
Ground black pepper
1 tsp salt
Preparation:
1. Finely dice the onions. Pour 4 Tbsp of oil into a heated pan and sauté the onions for around 10 minutes minutes, stirring occasionally.
2. Preheat an oven to 180°C.
3. Transfer the onion to a bowl and add the other ingredients, except for the breadcrumbs.
4. Grease a baking pan and sprinkle a small amount of breadcrumbs over the bottom. Evenly pour the batter into the pan.

Good to know…
The quiche loses a bit of its volume when it comes out of the oven. You can make it the day before. You can make it without the parsley and the mayonnaise. You can substitute regular onion for the purple onion. It’s tasty cold or at room temperature as well.
