Quick & Easy Shawarma
Five minutes on the clock and lunch in ready! The fried onion lends a wonderful flavor, and the combination is truly irresistible. I love these kinds of recipes
600 grams turkey shawarma meat, cut into thin strips
3 large onions
1/2 Tbsp paprika
1 tsp rotisserie chicken spice
1/2 tsp cumin
Pinch of turmeric
1 Tbsp chicken bouillon
Ground black pepper
1. Cut the onion in half and cut each half into thin slices. Heat 3 Tbsp of oil in a pan and sauté the onions until golden. Slice the garlic and add to the pan, sautéing until it gets a light golden color.
*2. Add the chicken to the pan and sauté on high heat for around 4 minutes while stirring. Season and mix thoroughly, cook for another minute and then remove from the heat.
