


Quinoa with Vegetables
What about health food ? I get many requests for health food recipes. Quinoa for instance, is beginning to pull its weight on our table. It is still far from rice, but it’s worth trying, its good!
Ingredients:
1 chopped medium-sized onion
1 cup Quinoa
200 gr. Pumpkin
1 medium-sized sweet potato
2 carrots
1 spoon honey
1 flat tsp. salt
Diced black pepper
Preparation:
1. Soak the Quinoa for half an hour and filter.
2. Cut up all vegetables into small pieces and fry them all for about 10 minutes.
3. Add the Quinoa and fry for 1 more minute; add two cups of boiling water, lower the fire, cover and
cook until everything is soft (approximately 18 minutes).
4. Turn off the fire and leave covered for 15 more minutes.
