Red Tahini

Very enjoyable way of serving Tahini: first it is delicious, second it is a variation from the regular way of serving Tahini; it is nice to put the two plates of red and white Tahini next to each other; it creates a colorful effect that attracts the eyes and briefly, it attracts all senses.


1/2 cup good quality raw tahini
1/2 cup water
1 small beet
2 tsp. crushed garlic
2 spoons Lemon juice
Crushed black pepper
1/2 tsp. salt


    1. 1. Cook the beet until it softens, mince all ingredients together.

    Tahini is a matter of taste, play with the tastes until they fit your preferences: more Tahini – less water or the opposite.
