Preparation:
I love both fresh and cooked tomatoes. There is nothing like red salad on white bread. There are not enough words to describe this pleasure or the pleasure of tasting straight from the pan to check if it is as tasty as it looks.
Tomatoes and Hot Peppers Salad
Ingredients:
2 onions
2 peppers
3 tomatoes
4 sliced garlic cloves
1 hot green pepper
1 flat tsp. sugar
1 spoon soup powder
Crushed black pepper
Salt
Preparation:
- 1. Chop the onion fried till they get nicely browned, add the garlic and fry for a few minutes.
- 2. Cut the peppers into small cubes and fry them with the onion. cut the tomatoes and fry, add a bit of water, cook and lower the fire to medium, add sugar and spices.
- 3. Cook for half an hour, add water if necessary, mix occasionally.
Remarks:
Sharpness is a matter of taste: put a little sharpness into the pan, taste it, you may put some more until you reach the right degree. I like it moderate but each his own taste.
