Wedding potatoes recipe
These are the kind of potatoes that are served at weddings and other events next to the steak or chicken. They’re soft and golden and so yum, I can’t seem to get enough of them.
After eating these at a recent wedding, I really wanted to reproduce the recipe at home. Now you can also enjoy a delicious side dish that pairs beautifully with any main course.
Ingredients:
1 kg potatoes
1/3 cup canola oil
1/2 tsp turmeric
1 Tbsp chicken bouillon
Ground black pepper
Salt (if needed, to taste)
Preparation:
1. Preheat an oven to 200°C.
2. Cut the potatoes into wedges. Bring a pot of water to a boil and cook the potatoes for two minutes, then drain.
3. Transfer to a bowl and add the oil and spices, mixing well. Line a baking tray with parchment paper and arrange the potatoes in one layer. Bake for 40 minutes until golden.
So good!
