Whipped Coffee
You can totally make coffee-shop style coffee at home as a nice treat.
Nowadays our outings are fairly limited. So even though we spend most of our time at home, you can still enjoy a thick and creamy coffee like they serve at most cafes.
This coffee beverage is so delicious, and you’ll also be saving money since it’s less expensive than buying take-away coffee. Be prepared for your new addiction!
You don’t need a coffee maker and I also explained how to make it manually. It’s super easy to enjoy a homemade whipped ice coffee that is just as good as, if not better than, anything you buy a cafe.
Ingredients:
3 Tbsp of instant coffee granules
3 Tbsp sugar
1 Tbsp instant vanilla pudding powder mix
60 ml water (1/4 cup)
Milk
Ice cubes
Preparation:
1. Whip the coffee, sugar, vanilla pudding mix powder and water together for 3-4 minutes at medium speed until you get a very thick and golden-colored cream.
2. Fill the glasses with ice cubes and add milk up to 3/4 of the height of the glass. Add 2-3 generous spoons of whipped coffee (or as much as you want, the more the better). Sprinkle with a bit of instant coffee powder, mix and enjoy!
*The amount is enough for 3 cups of coffee (depends on how much of the coffee cream you put in each cup).
*You can drink this with warm or hot milk.
*You can use any type of coffee you like.
*With a manual whisk this takes around 10-15 minutes of constant whipping. It’s not easy, you need a lot of patience and a strong arm!
*Sprinkle shaved chocolate over the whipped coffee for an indulgent treat. Or sprinkle with cocoa powder.
*If you want to really go all out when you serve this, you can pipe the whipped coffee over the milk.
*I don’t sweeten the milk, but you can add your sweetener of choice. I recommend mixing it with a bit of warm milk to dissolve the sweetener.
You don’t need any fancy equipment to make this at home and you can indulge in a coffee treat as good as any store bought coffee.
