2-Minute Quick Pizza Dough (No Yeast, No Wait!)
When a pizza craving hits, the last thing you want is a long wait. This 2-Minute Quick Pizza Dough changes everything. Forget about yeasts, proofing, and all the usual fuss. You only need simple
ingredients and two minutes to make a soft, workable dough that is ready to roll out immediately. This is the ultimate shortcut for fresh, homemade pizza whenever you want it — it’s fast, easy, and
completely stress-free.
You are just minutes away from a hot, fresh, homemade pizza — it doesn’t get any easier than that!
2 Pizzas
Ingredients:
210 g plain flour (1.5 cups)
80 ml oil (1/3 cup)
80 ml tap water (1/3 cup)
Half a teaspoon of sugar
A teaspoon of salt
Tomato sauce / ketchup
Additional ingredients: red onion, cherry tomatoes, mushrooms, corn
Grated cheese / mozzarella
Preparation:
1.) Place all of the ingredients in the mixer bowl. Using the paddle attachment (if you don’t have a mixer, a quick hand-knead works great!), process the ingredients until a smooth dough. Shape it into a ball and let it rest for 10 minutes (the perfect time to drink coffee).
2.) Preheat the oven to 190°C/374°F.
3.) Rolling Out Options (You decide):
*If you’re using a pizza pan: Flour a pan, roll out the dough to a circle the size of the pan and place it gently. Press down and cut off any excess.
*If you’re not using a pizza pan: Roll out the dough to whatever size and shape you want (rectangles, circles, works of art…). Place on a parchment paper on the oven tray.
4. Brush the dough with a little bit of water and sprinkle coarse salt on top. Bake the dough as is for about 25 minutes, until it achieves a nice golden color.
5 Spread the sauce (ketchup is perfectly fine!), sprinkle cheese and add the vegetables you like. Add a little bit of coarse salt on top of the toppings, pop it in the oven and bake for another 20 minutes, until the cheese is melts and bubbles.
It’s good to know that…
I actually made this dough using one and a half times the amount specified in the recipe. Why? Because if you’re going to make pizza, you might as well go all out and make enough for everyone (we certainly don’t want to run short!). This easily gave me two large rectangular pizzas, and I used the
leftovers to make a tiny delicious pizza for the hungry folks in the kitchen.
