Best Onion Casserole Recipe
This casserole has accompanied me for years because of how good it is — I just never get enough of it. It’s also suitable for every meal beacuse it’s dairy-free. Looking for a delicious casserole for lunch/dinner? You’ve come to the right place.
If I had to pick just one casserole, it’d be the onion one. Sometimes you don’t need to put in much effort to make a good meal.
Plus, it only takes 10 minutes to make.
20 – 22 cm round pan
Ingredients:
4 large onions
4-5 Tbsp oil
3 large eggs
1 cup self-raising flour
3/4 cup water
Ground black pepper
1 tsp salt
Preparation:
1. Preheat an oven to 180°C.
2. Cut the onions in half and cut into thin slices. Pour 3 Tbsp of oil into a heated pan and sauté the onions for a few minutes until golden, stirring occasionally.
3. Mix all the ingredients together and transfer to a greased baking pan. Bake for 45 minutes until golden and set.
