If you’re looking for a quick and easy cake, then this recipe is perfect for you — you don’t even need to use a mixer.
I call it: “Last minute cake recipe”. If guests are coming over or Aviv wants to eat something sweet, I
immediently make this cake.
It only takes 2 – 3 minutes to make and then you let the oven do its thing.
A simple, delicious, and juicy cake — there’s no need to use a mixer or wash a lot of dishes.
Truly a great cake.
English pan
Ingredients:
2 eggs L
120 g sugar (half a cup + extra tablespoon)
250 ml whipping cream (box)
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
80 ml oil (third cup)
180 g plain flour (cup + 4 tablespoons)
A teaspoon and a drop of baking powder
A heaped tablespoon of chocolate powder
Preparation:
1.) Preheat the oven to 180°C/356°F.
2.) Using a whisk, quickly whisk the eggs and the sugar together, then add the whipping cream along with the oil and keep whisking. Then add the flour along with the baking powder and mix until you get a thick and smooth batter.
3.) Portion 1/3 of the batter into a separate bowl and then add chocolate milk powder. Then, transfer both of the batters into the English pan. Now, swirl them with a knife for a marbled appearance.
4.) Bake for about 40 – 45 minutes and then check with a toothpick that the cake is ready.
For those who still want to use a mixer:
Mix the eggs and the sugar for about 20 seconds on medium speed, add whipping cream, oil, flour, baking powder and mix on low speed. Then, keep following the same instructions. (Starting at number 3)
