Cheese and Olive Fingers

A wonderful cheese fingers recipe that no one can resist. Wow, these cheese fingers are so delicious — good thing the recipe makes plenty, because this is one of the best dishes I’ve ever made. The
combination of melted cheese with olives is just amazing.
These cheese fingers have been a star at my house for years. They are perfect for dinner or to snack on in front of the TV.
The flavors are strong— just imagine the cheese oozing out, and combined with the saltiness of the olives, it’s just amazing.

3 Servings

Ingredients:

300 g flour (2 cups + 2 tablespoons)
Half a tablespoon of dry yeast
3/4 tablespoon of sugar
A teaspoon of salt
60 ml of oil (a quarter cup)
160 ml of water (a little less than three quarters of a cup)
100 g of grated yellow cheese, even a little more
Half a cup of olive rings

Preparation:

1.) Place flour, yeasts, sugar, salt, oil and water in the mixer. Process to a smooth and soft dough. Ball the dough, cover and proof for about 2 hours until the dough doubles in volume.

2.) Reduce in volume, divide the dough into 7 parts, flatten each part into a small rectangle the size of 18×15, add cheese and olives on top and fold it in half.

3.) Preheat a pan on medium heat with a couple tablespoons of oil, fry the dough until it turns golden on both sides, cut to fingers-shape and enjoy!
