Tahini Brownies Recipe
I can whisk these up in 2 minutes and pop them in the oven. The result is especially great for chocolate lovers. What makes them unique is the tahini combined with the chocolate—a perfect match.
Warning: once you taste how good they are, you won’t stop baking them.
Pan size: 20×30 cm
Ingredients:
3 large eggs
100 g dark chocolate
50 g milk / dark chocolate
100 g butter or 120 ml oil (½ cup)
100 g sugar (½ cup)
100 g brown demerara sugar (½ cup)
2 heaping tablespoons pure tahini
2 tablespoons honey
100 g flour (~¾ cup)
Preparation:
-
1. Preheat the oven to 180 °C. Grease a baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
-
2.Break the chocolate into pieces, place it in a bowl with the butter (or oil), and melt in the microwave at full power for about 1 minute. Stir until smooth.
-
3. Add sugar and stir, then add eggs one at a time quickly, mixing until each is fully incorporated before adding the next.
-
4.Add tahini and honey, stir until well combined, and finish by adding the flour.
-
5.Transfer the batter to the pan, smooth the top, and bake for about 20–25 minutes. It’s best to check with a toothpick—it should come out with warm crumbs attached.
