Malawach With Egg and Tomato
This wonderful recipe only takes 10 minutes to make!
Who doesn’t have malawach in the freezer? Everyone’s got some, exactly for those times when you just don’t feel like cooking.
That’s how this recipe was born — malawach with egg and tomato.
During my childhood, this was my favorite recipe — the combination of malawach with the egg and tomato is so delicious.
I really love eating it, and so do my kids.
Ingredients:
Frozen mallow
Hard-boiled egg
2 ripe, soft tomatoes, grated
Homemade hummus
Orange tahini
Salt
Preparation:
1. Heat a pan with oil and fry the malaveh (no need to defrost) on both sides until golden brown and use a rolling pin to slide onto a plate.
2. Spread hummus with tomato puree, sliced egg, cucumber slices on half of the malaveh and fold in half.
