Caramelized Sweet Potatoes

Sweet potatoes are one of the most beautiful vegetables out there, and I just have to make something delicious with them. Caramelized and baked sweet potatoes are a great side dish. The baking process only makes them better — they get a gentle caramelization and they taste great.
This recipe only uses a few ingredients that everyone has at home.
Just look at the beautiful shape of the sweet potatoes. I explained in the pictures how I made it and it turned out wonderful — soft sweet potatoes. Serve them to the table and just watch how they disappear.

3 – 4 Servings

Ingredients:

3 large sweet potatoes
2 tablespoons honey/soybean oil
5 – 6 tablespoons olive oil
Salt – pepper

Preparation:

1.) If the sweet potato is very large, cut it in half. Peel of the skin of the sweet potatoes and cut the sweet potatoes lengthwise into pieces of medium thickness.

2.) I left some detailed pictures for you, I recommend scrolling down. Place a piece between 2 skewers, cut cracks, (the skewers will prevent you from cutting all the way through) flip it and make more cracks diagonally.

3.) Preheat the oven to 200 degrees and place the pieces on a pan with baking paper. Mix olive oil with honey and brush over the pieces on both sides. Add salt and pepper.

4.) Bake for about 50 minutes.
