Yellow chicken breast recipe

You really have to make this recipe. I love it when a recipe comes out exactly like I wanted it to.
Tender chicken breast that tastes delicious with a wonderful sauce that pairs perfectly with it.
Preparation takes 10 minutes, more or less, so you can get this meal on the table super quickly. I hope you enjoy this as much as I did. Add it to your recipe binder for regular rotation. You won’t regret it!

Ingredients:

600 grams chicken breast tenders / chicken breast

For the marinade:
1 heaped Tbsp cornstarch
1 egg white

1 onion
2 cloves of garlic
1.5 cups water
1 heaped Tbsp silan / honey
2 level Tbsp ketchup
1 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp turmeric
1 Tbsp chicken bouillon
Ground black pepper
Salt (if needed, to taste)

Preparation:

1. Cut the chicken tenders into three, if using chicken breast cut into small cubes. Add the cornstarch and the egg white and mix well. Let marinate around 30 minutes.

2. Dice the onion and the garlic. Heat 3 Tbsp of oil in a pan and sauté the onion until golden. Add the garlic and continue sautéing for another minute.

3. Add the water, ketchup and spices and cook for around a minute. Add the silan or honey and the chicken and cook for 5-6 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Good to know…
I don’t recommend making this ahead of time but if you insist, then add a bit more water the day after.
