Chicken Breast in Sweet and Sour Sauce

The way I made this recipe is great — the bottom line is, it turned out wonderfully. It’s juicy, full of good flavors and it only takes a few minutes to make. You are going to love this recipe — chicken breast with great coating. You will literally start licking your fingers after eating it.
The sauce is sticky, sour, sweet and very delicious — it gives the chicken breast a shiny coating.
I’m getting hungry just by looking at it:)
It’s time for lunch — go make it and just watch how your children will devour it.
At the botttom of the recipe, I left a tip on how to quickly make a side dish.

3 Servings

Ingredients:

600 – 700 g chicken breast cut into medium pieces
A teaspoon of Moroccan paprika
Half a tablespoon of broth
4 tablespoons of olive oil / canola oil

Sauce:
A teaspoon of cornstarch
5 tablespoons of water
2 tablespoons of ketchup
Half a teaspoon of paprika
3 tablespoons of vinegar
2 tablespoons of cilantro
A teaspoon of soy sauce
Ground black pepper
Half a tablespoon of broth

Preparation:

1. Season the chicken breast with paprika, A. Soup and oil and soak for about an hour. If you don’t have time, you can start frying.

2. Heat a wide pan with 4-5 tablespoons of oil. Fry the breast pieces over medium heat for about 5-6 minutes on both sides and take them out.

3. Mix cornstarch and water until the cornstarch is completely dissolved. Add the rest of the ingredients. Mix. Put in the pan. Cook for about a minute. Return the breast pieces. Mix for about a minute. The sauce will coat all the pieces. There is a really shiny and sticky glaze on the breast and it is beautiful.

4. What did we have? Rice for the kids, eggplant schnitzel with the addition of chicken breast. Great lunch.

I promised to show you a trick, right?
Sometimes, when I need to quickly make a side dish, I make pasta, and when the chicken breast is ready I take it out of the pan, and I add the pasta to the same pan that has some of the chicken breast sauce, along with adding the soaking liquid of the chicken breast. I mix everything together for about 2 minutes and I serve it with the chicken breast.
