Chicken Sandwich Homemade
This is a must-save post, all leftover meat and chicken goes here, who doesn’t know this? Sunday is here and there are lots of leftovers from the weekend that no one wants to eat and I can’t throw away. I’m stubborn here. Food has to be finished.
And yet, what can I make that Aviv will eat and even ask for another serving? I came up with a cute idea that worked so well that I’m just waiting for leftovers to be left over. This is one of the best bites. Juicy, shredded meat full of flavors.
By the way, I’m not saying that I don’t want faces from leftovers, and I’ll sum it up in the words of my smart child, “Mom, it was very tasty.”
Ingredients:
300 – 400 g of minced meat
(chicken, beef, meatballs, schnitzel, brisket, anything goes)
Slices of pastrami
Slices of wholemeal bread
Mayonnaise
Lettuce leaves
Sliced tomato
Sliced cucumber
Salt
Preparation:
1. Cut the shredded meat into small pieces (this step can be prepared in advance)
2. Heat a pan with 3 tablespoons of oil and fry the shredded meat for about two minutes and remove from heat.
3. Assembly:
Apply a thin layer of mayonnaise on the slices of bread, lettuce leaves, tomato slices, salt, a layer of shredded meat, elongated cucumber slices, salt, pastrami, lettuce leaves and close with a slice of bread, press to release the juices and cut in the middle.
