Sauteed Mushrooms and Onions
Do you have 10 minutes? I first saw this recipe in an event — they served a pile of mushrooms with onions in a large plate and and it looked amazing. I’m not the only one who thinks like that.
In the center they served the onions and the mushrooms and on the side they served rice, mashed potatoes and bulgur. There was even hummus, pitas and a vegetable salad.
That’s how you eat it — you put in a plate everything you like and a generous amount of onions and mushrooms on top.
Another option is to put in a pita with hummus some mushrooms and onions and finish with a
vegetable salad.
Truly a wonderful recipe.
3 – 4 Servings
Preparation:
1.) If the mushrooms are big, cut them into quarters. If they are medium-sized, cut them into half, and if they are small, no need to cut — keep them as they are. Preheat a pan with 4 – 5 tablespoon of oil and fry the onion until it turns golden. Then, add the mushrooms and fry for about 2 – 3 minutes.
2.) Add the rest of the ingredients and fry for another 2 minutes.
3.) When serving, sprinkle some chopped parsley on top.
