Best Grilled Chicken
One of the best chickens I’ve ever made, and believe me — I’ve made plenty of chickens.
It turns out perfect, and the taste is absolutely amazing.
Everyone needs to have a great recipe for wonderful chicken that anyone will love.
This recipe is so easy and simple. Plus, I make most things in advance so Friday will be easier. Chicken for Shabbat — so simple and delicious.
And when adding the potatoes, I get a whole meal. And if you still don’t believe that it’s so tasty, just go ahead and make it.
3 Servings
Ingredients:
Whole chicken / 1 pound chicken parts (not breasts or chicken drumsticks)
1 bag of small washed potatoes / 4 – 5 potatoes cut into cubes / rounds
1/2 cup olive / canola oil
Seasonings:
2 tablespoons Moroccan sweet paprika
1 tablespoon chicken grill
1 tablespoon chicken a. Soup powder
1 tablespoon crushed garlic
Ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon date honey (optional)
Coarse salt (optional)
Preparation:
1.) Preheat a pot with salty water, cook in boiling water for 5 – 6 minutes and drain.
2.) Mix the oil, garlic and spices to a smooth and shiny sauce. Season the chicken with it and soak for about 1 hour. Using the rest of the sauce, season the potatoes.
Options:
3.) Making a whole chicken: Place a baking paper on a pan, place the chicken in a way that its breast is facing downwards and sprinkle the potatoes all around.
4.) Making with chicken parts: Place the chicken parts on the baking paper in one layer and add the potatoes all around.
5.) If you want to upgrade this dish even more — add a tablespoon of date honey to the sauce. It won’t be sweet, but it’ll deliver a special flavor. Add 2 tablespoons of salt in each corner of the pan. (optional)
6.) Preheat the oven to 180 – 190 degrees and bake for about 50 minutes.
