Casserole with beans and rice
I noticed a lonely can of beans of tomato sauce in the pantry; I could have eaten it just like that, but where is the challenge? I cooked it together with a can of corn. I served this flavourful dish over a bed of hot rice.
Ingredients:
1 chopped onion
1 can of beans in tomato sauce
1/2 cup corn
1 small can of tomato puree (100 gr)
1 cup water
1 tsp. sugar
1 spoon Paprika
Soup powder
1/2 tsp. Turmeric
Diced black pepper
Salt
Preparation:
1. Heat the oil in a frying pan, put the onions and stir until the onions are tender.
2. Add the beans to the frying pan and heat over a medium heat , Add the corn , water, the puree and the spices.
3. Cook on medium fire for about 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
