Potatoes with Olives
I have a little girl who loves olives very much, so I always look for ways to combine them with other nutritious foods. The potatoes and the olives absorb the sauce and the result is a delicious dish for any dinner.
1 onion cut into half and sliced
340 gr. pitted olives
10 Champignon Mushrooms
100 gr. tomato puree
1 spoon Paprika
1/2 tsp. Turmeric
1/2 tsp. Chicken Grill
1/2 tsp. Cumin
2 cups water
Diced black pepper
- 1. Boil water, cook the olives for 15 minutes, filter and repeat the operation once more.
- 2. Fry the onion, cut up the mushrooms roughly and fry two minutes more, add the puree, the spices, the water and the olives and bring to boil.
- 3. Cut up the potatoes into small chunks, add them to Sauce, lower the fire, cover and cook them together for 30 minutes. Check if the casserole has not run out of liquids, add if necessary and check if the potatoes are soft before you take off the fire.
